Puerto Rico has a motor vehicle population of 2.1 million gasoline consuming vehicles.

As a Central hub for the Caribbean Basin, San Juan International Airport, along with other local airports, are major users of jet fuel.

 

Manufacturing, transportation and construction firms use kerosene and diesel fuels, as well as supply for ship bunkering.

Fuel oil is sold to the government utility company (PREPA), and additional volumes are sold for ships bunkering.
